Aeroplane Introductory Flights

This could be a dream come true, the chance to try your hand at flying an aeroplane! Lessons start with a comprehensive pre-flight briefing before climbing into the Cessna 172 and enjoying 30 minute flight at the controls.

You don't need any flying experience, as this is a hands-on lesson under the guidance of a fully qualified instructor. The instructor will safely demonstrate and monitor the handling of the Cessna 172. You will come back hardly believing that you have just flown an aeroplane.

Vital Details:
 You may be restricted from flying if you are extremely overweight or suffering from a medical condition.  Please contact the LFC Flight Experience team to discuss individual conditions.
The Weather:
Unfortunately, the only part of this unique experience that we cannot control is the weather. If the pilot makes a decision that it is unsafe to fly, we will reschedule the flight to another mutually acceptable day.

2 Hours including briefing session.

Dress Code:

Comfortable, cool clothing with covered footwear.
Spectators:
 We encourage spectators to sit in on the briefing to understand exactly what’s happening on the day. At most locations you are able to come out to the aeroplane and look around and take photos.

Aeroplane Flying Lesson

Do you hanker to grab the controls of a real aeroplane? With this package you do! After a pre-flight lesson you jump in the pilot's seat! Your instructor will take off and then hand the controls to you. Enjoy the sights of Johannesburg from a totally different perspective. You will come back hardly believing you have just flown an aeroplane on your own!

Aeroplane Scenic Flights

Flight over the city

Enjoy a scenic flight over the city of Johannesburg in your own private chauffeured aeroplane. Why not spoil yourself or that someone special with a magnificent flight and champagne! The flight is one hour and our pilot will happily take you over the areas that interest you most within the flight time.

Breakfast at Sun City

Combine fine food, wine and a chauffeured aeroplane and you have the best tour on offer. Why not spoil yourself or that someone special with our flight–breakfast package. After landing in your own private aeroplane you are shuttled in to the Sun City Resort. Enjoy spectacular breakfast at anyone of the hotels or restaurants. When you’re ready the pilot will take you on a scenic flight around the resort flying over the magnificent Lost City and Pilanesburg Game Reserve. Cost of breakfast not included.
