Dangerous Goods
As
a pilot are you aware of what you and your passengers
may or may not take onboard of the aircraft?
Many everyday items are not classed safe articles.
Some
of these items include:
- A booklet of matches
- A lighter
- Batteries
- Flammable liquids
- Gas cylinders
The
Dangerous Goods awareness course covers these
substances and how you should
treat them and if you can transport
them at all. Which articles require
special packaging etc.
Legal
requirements: All
part 135 and 121 operators are required to be
in possession
of a
dangerous goods
certificate.
Payment
Terms: "Pay as you go" Client
will need to have a minimum credit balance of R1000
at
all times.
